The methods used in procedures of non-invasive eyelid lifting (raising drooping eyelids):
- fractional ablative laser – formation of a network of microscopic injuries of the dermis that are quickly covered by new epidermis (the process of reepithelialisation) from the surrounding undamaged tissues.
- HIFU (high frequency ultrasound waves) – shortening of collagen fibres (the effects are visible immediately after the procedure) and stimulation of cells to produce new collagen (the effects are visible after two months).
